Ten years as a business is a monumental mark and definitely a reason to party. You’ve seen a lot and matured immensely. As 10 year old kid you’re naive and everything is still new and fun. Drawing with crayons and markers is considered the highest form of art and you still get candles on your birthday cake. With both of these points in mind, the task was to create a coherent identity and printed pieces that helped visually celebrate being 10 years old/young.

Most nightclub promotions operate under the ‘Sex Sells’ mantra. However, Foundation Nightclub, voted by the Twin Cities Citypages as the best Dance Club in 2007, adopted the philosophy of ‘Be Yourself’. This allowed for the unique opportunity to move away from the easy sell and explore type, color and image as it related to the artist and the music they played.
